Title: Classic Car Rally Plate
Post by: DriesV on September 02, 2013, 03:28:38 PM
Just a little rally plate I made for a classic car tour I'm helping to organize next weekend...
We actually hand out 'the real thing' to participants. ;)

Straight KeyShot render.

Did you do the artwork as well? Looks great Dries. Love the colors.

I did the graphic design in Illustrator. ;)

The ram figure was drawn by tracing some image I found with the pen tool. The 'vintage' fonts were grabbed from several free resources on the internet.

We've been using this general style the last couple of editions. :)

Stacking is a breeze in KeyShot. I've never been able to pull this off in reality. ;)

Nice! Do you have a classic car?

Within our family we own:

*Alfa Romeo Spider 1300 junior ('70 something)
*Triumph Spitfire 1500 ('70 something)
*MG MGA 1500 Coupe (1956) (restoration yet to be finished)

The MGA is an original Californian. It's stamped in the serial nr. plate.
We bought it in the Netherlands though... in a much less than stellar state. :)
