Title: Gravity for Fuzz
Post by: Metin Seven on June 10, 2021, 09:39:23 AM
Hi,

I'd love to see gravity control added to Fuzz, preferably controllable using a value or greyscale texture (with black causing straight fibers, and white areas getting full gravity pull-down).

Thanks!

+1 but you could mimic gravity by setting your direction, right?

Thanks for your support guys, appreciated.

Kristof, if the Fuzz direction is in world space, and includes bending from the fiber origin (coming straight from the object normal) to the outer end, then it should be possible. Is that the case? I haven't experimented with that yet.

I believe so, I have seen some people doing rendering of animals and they definitely need directional fuzz. I believe you can input maps even to set the direction.

Interesting. I'll test that soon, thanks.
