Hey there,
ist it possible that Keyshot can't save a .bip file when I have an alembic file imported, that is exported (from cinema 4d) with spline information?
I've tried several changes to my files but I think every time I check the spline box in the export window Keyshot is shutting down as soon as I try to save the imported file as .bip file.
I would be glad if you could help me out with this, need it for my bachelor-thesis ;-)
Sebastian
This sounds odd. I suggest emailing the file to support@luxion.com and explain this issue.
I had an .abc file from Max that crashed KS on importing; it turned out that it was the lights that had been added in Max. I know it's not quite the same situation as you have but I figured I'd share in case it sparks an idea.
Thanks for your advices, I think I get the job done without the splines.
When I find the time I'll send the file to the support guys at luxion.
