Hi
Im having a hard time hanging on to KS here, and I'm hoping that someone out there can help me find the problem.
iMAC late 2013.
32 Gig RAM
Hybrid disc 3TB
No other problems on that rig besides with KS5.
I have tried to open old KS4 files, and import STEP files all over again, but KS still Crashes constantly on my Mac.
The problem was not there in KS4, i have also tried to re-upgrade and do a complete re.install of KS5, nothing helps.
Does anyone here have similar troubles as i have?
I have not found a way to reproduce, so the crashes are completely random, but i have noticed that sometimes after i open i KS file all choices in menus are greyed out, and i can't move the model att all with the mouse, and "close KS" is not even possible to chose. then if i drag and drop another KS file onto the window it causes a crash, 100% of the times i do this, but other then that the crashes are completely random.
Here is a cut&paste from one of the crash logs (and there are quite a few by now)

Same problem here. It's doing my head in!
Macbook Pro
Is there any way we can send an error report that someone might read?
First step is to upgrade to 5.1.66. This should fix the crashes.
Hi Thomas- Thanks for the rapid response.
I'm already running version 5.1.66 actually (on mac), but still have the crashes
My hardware is as follows;
Hardware Overview:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro8,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.2 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB
Boot ROM Version: MBP81.0047.B27
SMC Version (system): 1.69f4
Serial Number (system): C02GHA6WDV7L
Hardware UUID: 0B241EDE-DD5E-5858-A867-411DD170D855
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled
I'm importing files from Rhino 5.0 WIP671 (for mac) which is obviously still in development. Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem?
I've also had problems with Keyshot crashing when labels are applied in much earlier versions of Keyshot. Not sure if this is the same problem here or if this was revised?
Unfortunately I'm working with really confidential 3D files at the moment, and so cannot pass them on.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Anthony
