Title: Live Linking KeyShot and SolidWorks Between Mac and Windows
Post by: blessid on November 30, 2013, 03:21:10 AM
Hey All,

I have a little issue which I hope is simple to rectify. I have KeyShot 4 for Mac and am running SolidWorks on on windows 7 using parallels.... Can i still use live link between KeyShot and SolidWorks? I wondered if it may be a case of changing the install path for Live Link? It would be really helpful if i could do this and would certainly boost my KeyShot efficiency!

ALl the best

Live link and the plug in don't work for me. The import update also will not work and will make my KeyShot unresponsive.

If I update the model I will have to import it all over  ???

Yeah, same here. If SolidWorks was just available on Mac then this wouldn't be an issue, and to be honest i can forget about windows all together!

Not sure, but maybe the idea that Tim mentioned today would work?  See http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php/topic,7116.0.html (http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php/topic,7116.0.html)
