Title: dead Christ reloaded
Post by: evilmaul on September 20, 2013, 07:30:01 AM
I guess I will call this done now . I wanted to get back to it re- topo the original sculpt done from cube, in order to be able to fix up some stuff and also try to add in some drapery which I found quite challenging to do being my first time really trying.

cheers
Marco

Wow!  As always when you post a new project I call my wife in from her studio to see it.  Together we studied the images, and she noted your capture of the inner Spirit, so rare with artists today, in such a masterful neo-classical style.  She went back to her studio and returned with a small plaque that my mom, a Master painter, had hanging on her studio wall for over 60 years.

"If people knew how hard I have to work for my mastery, they would not think it so wonderful"

thanks Chad.

this other render, unlike all of the others, uses 2 area lights and a very dim HDR as a fill light.
