Hello :)
My newest project. I found this one quite a challenge, especially the label, which is a very rough paper material (with different metallic finishes for the text), instead of the more commonly used plastic labels. My intention was to achieve a very pure and raw photo look. :-)

Perfect!
I think this is the best KeyShot bottle I have ever seen. The label is looking amazing!
Very impressive - the labeling work is excellent and highly effective

Woah, thank you for the positive feedback guys! :-)

Wrong! I think these are the best KeyShot renderings of
anything I've seen yet! Superb work! The splash in the glass is over-the-top! The DOF may be a tad excessive, but it works!

Well, what I did, is that I recreated the label using reference images. I then divided all the elements of the label in different layers, so that they could be assigned different label materials. Like so:

For the glas I used a solid glass material.
The liquid material was a dielectric shader with a gradient transmission.
The lighting ended up being quiet simple. I used two planes, a soft round pin and an emissive material as backlight.
Hope it helps :)
Thanks Martin , it's very interesting.
I'm packaging designer and personnaly i use Color Key Mask in keyshot 6. It's very usefull.

This is one fantastic piece of visual work. Perfect indeed! Well done.

For a quick introduction take look at this part of the advanced material control webinar that Dries did a while ago. I think it is pretty cool.

Thanks Esben, gonna check it out! :)

Thank you!! :-) It was a combination of both custom- and keyshot maps. The paper texture was a combination of a custom map and keyshot's cellular texture. (I updated the material graph image because I noticed I uploaded an older version..)
Superb material work Martin :)
The render looks great. If done properly, a render does not just show an object, but allows you to almost feel the material. This is one of those renders that really achieves that well.

Thank you for the compliment :-)
A bit late to the party but WOW, this is fantastic!
Hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you use the extreme blur images for? Is that what gives you a bevelled look to your bump map?
Also did you use the 'sync' tool to keep your diffuse and bump aligned? I'm having to align them manually as the sync doesn't appear to do what I'd like it to do.
Cheers!
James
This is SO SO good. Well done!
Nice !!!! :)
This is a fantastic job. Super believable. Congratulations! Bottles and labels are super tough.
