Title: More than one material to a part(object) ie different materials for each surface
Post by: meerlaan on July 04, 2012, 04:15:27 AM
Hello All,

Ok this might seem like an easy question, I am no expert on keyshot! And this is my first post on this forum..

I am rendering something where I need to add multiple material to a single object, is it possible to select a surface and assign a material to it?

Thanks for you help.

Martin

I am also having this problem, when i unlink the material it allows me to add materials to different parts but not to individual faces.

any help would also be appreciated.

You will need to color the particular surface inside your CAD modeling software.

Is there a particular reason (IPR?), why a Keyshot user cannot pick an individual surface of the part for different
color/material. There is now link/unlink for a material. What is needed is Group/Ungroup and surface
organization over two different products under the same scene file.
