Title: Animation video shutters - judders
Post by: Tube on July 25, 2013, 04:17:06 AM
Hi,

I made an animation with KS. Using a 3d brain rotating on the turntable.
But unfortunately the video with the animation is stutters - judders.

Does somebody have an idea how i get animations which are fluid?

Thank You.

Generally speaking juttery video is because the frame rate is too high for the resolution or that the video player does not have enough cache assigned to cope with the level of detail again for the frame rate. May I ask what resolution and frame rate you are rendering at ?

It is 25 fames a second
and
1920x1080 is the resolution

I imported the video also to final cut pro x and it has the same problem.

Does it has problems with blur.... I remember from normal videos there are always
inter frames which make like a transition between the frames.

Thank You

I still think this is going to be a hardware bottleneck somewhere ... If the frames held in user-name\Documents\keyshot\animations\my-project\frames - If they are not blurred or distorted in any way then it has to be either not enough resources to create the video or the playback hardware is not sufficient enough.
