I rendered this on a MacBook Pro 13", 2.26Ghz Core2Duo processor, Mac OS X 10.6.3, using KeyShot 2 32bit (!), 500GB 7200 rpm hard drive.
Depth of Field was only set to 1, so it is a little fuzzy. But I wanted to share ...
Try this on a graphics card ;D
Wow... stunning performance. Which HDRI did you use? Is that strong light front the startup HDRI?
No, it is some outdoor scene I had.
How big is your memory (RAM)?
How long took it to render?
Just 2 quick questions, but besides that, they look very "realistic".
I say "realistic" because you don't have textures on them. Will you add them later?
I have 8GB of RAM, but since I am only using a 32bit version I can only use up to 3.5GB - so clearly it was less than that what I used.
Final render time was about 1.5 hours. DOF is always takes some time.
The artist didn't provide any textures - I hope to get them later.
What is great is how easily you spin this model around - even on an entry level laptop.
