Title: Solid Works 2019 not working with Keyshot 8
Post by: thowarth on June 06, 2019, 04:59:51 AM
The engineering team recently upgraded to Solidworks 2019 and now Keyshot seems to be incompatible. I can of course make .stp files in the short term but my history of .stp files and keyshot have not been that great especially with the size of the models I am rendering. I there any word on when Solid Works 2019 support will be coming to Keyshot 8?

Maybe the engineers can use the KeyShot plugin in Solidworks 2019. So they can export a bip file to use it in KeyShot 8.

Cheers

FWIW, I've had a much better time with Parasolid .x_t files than with STEP.
