Hi'all
I can't see my ground shadows either when set to lighting environment, color or backplate image.
Both Ground shadows and ground reflections are enabled.

Then maybe the size of the environment is too small or large and so to the ground size.
You can try it to add a ground plane and see the actual size of the ground size.
Also you can hide all parts/groups and add geometry (e.g. a cube) to force a shadow.
Otherwise you can delete all geometry and post your scene here, so we can look into it.
