Can't Open PNG Format Snapshot In Photoshop

Just tried to open several PNG format Snapshots I made using Keyshot 7.1.36 in Photoshop CC, and I get the attached error.

I'm on a PC running Windows 7. I can save and open Snapshots created as a JPG
I tried this with several Keyshot files, and get the same result.

Just checked, and I have no problem opening these same PNG files in Windows Photo Viewer, Sketchbook Pro, or Microsoft Paint.
Photoshop seems to be the only program having issues for me.

I've run into that issue randomly.

Try changing the file name to a different but somewhat equiv. type. For instance,

.png to .tif and see if that makes a difference? Sometimes this trick has worked, other times it has not. Seems something has gone wrong in the writing of the file.
