Title: Transparent BG; no longer?
Post by: DMerz III on December 11, 2018, 09:05:26 AM
Hey guys,

I'm completely dumbfounded at the moment, I thought I used to be able to render an image in .tif format with transparency turned on, with a physical ground plane set to the default ground material, and get an output image where the shadow blends off into alpha transparency. Is that no longer an option in KS8?

:-[ Figured out my issue. I wasn't rendering in product mode. I couldn't get it to work with interior mode. (I usually work in product mode). Is that probably the culprit?
