I had a quick look at the flakes, very cool. Still looking for the right flake/visibility balance, but thought I'd post this render anyway.

Thanks chaps! I'm well impressed with 3.1 I must say, been busy plugging the flakes and HDRI editing on my blog.

I like it. But, what is bugging me is in the midtones or in the areas where you see the true color of the paint. I feel the flake is to strong. You should'nt  really see the flake  unless your up close and personal to the car.
I think if you turn down your gamma just a little bit that would solve that issue.

I think part of that flake visibility is down to noise (added when grading the render), but I am still playing with different settings. Here's another render :)
