Title: How to make cutaway animation?

I can not find any option of cutaway animation in animation wizard section. Can anyone help me?
I am using Keyshot 8.2 Pro version

You need to animate the cutaway object.

ya, this helps....but how did u applied the cutaway to just the outer cover? 
The inner gears are not effected by the cube .

This package is based on an example scene from Keyshot - I just animated it to show how it was done.
Watch the video tutorial and/or explore the scene tree - you can exclude components to be sectioned.

does it (cutaway option) work on surface model of will i have need a solid model?  although, if i model an object as solid on rhinoceros, it looks like surface when i cut it.
