Title: Reading materials from Rhino 7
Post by: Normand on April 08, 2022, 01:19:15 AM
Hi Luxion
As Rhino 7 has incorportated PBR materials as part of their Cycles based render engine, it would be nice if importing 3DM files would include bump, roughness, specular, displacement etc.; instead of just diffuse/base color channel. Running KS10 and Rhino 7, so it might have been implemented in KS11?
TIA, Jakob

You can export the Rhino model as glb and import this in KeyShot. So you'll get the materials as generic material type after import.
Might that help?
