Hi guys!
It's good to be back after a while, today I bring to you the mclaren P1 with speed modeling video. I wanted to revisit this car because the first time I modeled it was awful... Also this time I used a second monitor to record the timelapse so no epilepsy this time haha.
If the images look a bit weird (over-exposed/saturated) is because I wanted to try the Tiff32 format and when I made PNG copies they changed a bit
As always let me know your thoughs on this and I hope you enjoy it

Thank you very much for your feedback guys! It's great to come back after some time without sharing work in the forum and get such a good welcome

Thanks a lot guys!
here's a new one.. I just wanted to see how it looked with the lights on, using the same material as the previous images (a cloudy gray plastic) using light sources inside those pieces
it's just a test render so I'm uploading it straight from keyshot
of course I'd like to know what you guys think of this or what would you do
-Sebas
Hi guys! a little update on this old topic... This is the render I did for the hum3d render challenge.
I chose the P1 because it's the latest model so you could say it has the best quality so far and smuggled the 675LT and the Huracan in there too.
I know, I know... I did it on a rush but next year I'll do better (and with more time)... I like the atmosphere though, with the light coming through the ceiling.
Tell me what you guys think and what would you do to it!
Again, the Vossen wheels by Jonathan Vera Sella
I love it ! bravo Sebas !
My oh my. Throwing in my + on this one! Superb stuff, Sebas.
Great work....blown away by the time lapse. I have a question. On the close up rear blue shot "P1 blue closeup PNG" is the blk honeycomb material modeled or textured as bump map? thanks
These are just really superb, Sebas! Fantastic renders...and that timelapse...wow, you've got some serious modeling skills 8)
Cheers,
Eric
Thanks a lot guys!
And Paul, that piece in the back of the car is a plane (you can see it a little in the timelapse), it has a bump map applied to it and also an opacity map to see through the mesh structure
cool....I need to try that....looks fantastic
Wow! I never saw that timelapse of the modeling. Really well-done. Very impressive. Also, great renderings.
Hi guys! New render featuring the P1, this time the theme was to do a red car on a red background (inspired by a facebook group) so, having done that awesome huayra render in blue carbon I decided I'd do this one in red carbon.
I really like how this one turned out and I hope you guys like it too!

That one is so nice! Your studio shots has really taken a great leap.
Saw this on Artstation. This is one of my favourite studio shots from you man. I love the reflections and the head lamp on is a great touch.

Thanks a lot guys! Now I'm thinking I should've made the carbon weave a little bit larger... you can only appreciate it when you see it in full res and zoom
