Title: WIP- Passenger Car Truck
Post by: Speedster on January 13, 2013, 04:59:59 PM
WIP.  And, no, it not a passenger car or a truck!  It's called that in railroad jargon, AKA a "bogie" for the Brits out there.  Wait until you see the 15,000,000 poly passenger car that sits on these "trucks"!  About 2 minutes to import, set up and render.  Don't ask how it got out there in the desert!  Gotta put a rattlesnake in the shot.

Looks like you have the model below the ground (the line at the bottom of the wheels). Other than that, looks rusty to me (in a good way).

Yep, it's below ground.  It was floating above ground, and I tweaked it down a bit too much.  This was just a quickie, and not worth doing what I should have done.  Good catch, with sharp eyes!

Hi Bill,
I must say your modeling is some of the best I have seen. Very detailed you don't miss a thing.
Would love to get my paws on this and rust it up.  ;) I'll share all my materials I make for it with you.......I promiss.
