Title: MAC Lion 10.7 - How to import materials, environments, backplates, etc.
Post by: fastlane996 on April 15, 2012, 03:53:25 PM
Does anyone know how to add new MATERIALS, ENVIRONMENTS, BACKPLATES to the Keyshot3 folders?   Where are the Keyshot3 folders on a MAC - they do not show up on SEARCH?
thanks in advance!

All KeyShot resources are located in ~Library/Application Support/KeyShot 3.

Please make sure that you have installed the full installer, not just the update, and that you have the proper permissions.

Hi
The issue was successfully resolved by Chad at Keyshot who suggested the following.

QuoteInstead of looking under your user name for the KeyShot 3 resource folder, try looking under Devices>Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/KeyShot3

There are two different Library locations, so it can be confusing.

thanks for solving the mystery!
