Title: Copy&Paste Bitmap Mapping
Post by: Higuchi on October 12, 2021, 01:03:53 AM
Hi there,

I think many Keyshot users are using bitmap mapping for Bump, Opacity, Label, etc.
But, When I copy and paste its material, the location are sometimes changed unintentionally and needed to be aligned with original position.
While I know the location of model can be copied and pasted with XYZ numbers, I'm wondering if I could do same thing for bitmap mapping.

Thanks,

Sometimes this behaves on the texture position if this is depending on the part or the model. Just try the option part. This might help

Thanks!
As you mentioned, it occurs on some cases, but I can't find and tell the reason and condition. I'm wondering if it's bug or there would be solid reason to make us helpful. I can't understand any positive effects so far regarding this issue.

By the way, could you tell me what does "option part" mean? It may be first time for me to hear.

An you share an example scene? This might help to speed up the answers.
Currently I have no time to build a scene and write a deep explanation.

The options model and part place textures in different center positions based on the structure of the model or assembly with parts.

Noted with thanks.
I'll upload the keyshot sample data to make communication easier.
Let me have a while.
