Title: Iges retain materials broken in 2.2? :'(

I used to use the Beta retain materials all the time, as we'll have a few different designs, with the same look. In 2.2 It doesn't work either the same, or as intended. I import my Iges, edit, render, import the next iges with retain materials. In 2.1 anything that was set as the same color in the iges as the previous iges would get the same material. In 2.2, I don't know how it picks what it picks, but it joins all colors into one part, and makes them the same base material, but all changes (IOR, color, and bumpmaps) removed. Seeing they become one part I can't just redo the changes. Only half the part has the bumpmap on it. Am I doing something wrong?

We just found a bug with retain materials - will be fixed in the next update.

Thomas - you're probably aware already, but forgetting materials in 2.2.33 isn't specific to IGES -it's happening to me with Pro/E data, too.

yes - it is happening with any file type if you save your scene and re-open it. We will have a fix next week.
