In KS4 caustics are a global feature (read as: when enabled, all light sources in a scene generate caustics).
I often use a point light to create crisp and detailed caustics. I find that the caustics created by the HDRI are often not desired.
It would be great if focused caustics could be enabled on a per light source basis.
E.g. There would be a toggle in the Envirronment tab and in the material properties of the physical light materials.
