Title: Stop render queue processing
Post by: PhilippeV8 on March 25, 2011, 12:31:44 AM
What happens if I hit that?
I got a bunch of renders in the Q and I started it last night.  It's now @ 35% and I'd like to stop the Q and start it tonight.
But should I wait for it to finish the curent render and then stop the Q in between renders ?  Or will it continue render the current one and then stop ?  Or will it stop the current render but keep it in the Q for next time ?  Or will it just drop the current render ?

I guess my safest option now (not knowing) is to wait for the current render to be finished.

Let the rendering finish, then stop the queue.

Thnx Thomas, that's what I did and it looked like I chose a good way to "pauze" my render.

Wouldn't it be an idea to add a button on there ?

"Stop render" and "Stop render queue processing", where the latter will finish the current render, then stop.

Yet another idea I have ... Is it possible to add a turntable render to the Q ?

This is all coming from someone who needs to do as much rendering overnight as possible ;)  So if I got many ready for rendering, the Q defenitely is my friend !
