Title: Ground Plane
Post by: CAClark on May 08, 2014, 11:46:07 PM
Would be nice if you could seperately control what appears in the reflections on a ground plane. If you have reflector/light cards to not be seen by the camera but show up in reflections, they also appear in the ground plane reflection, so would be awesome to have extra control on that material.

Cheers!

+1  ;) would also like the ability adjust IOR for increased reflection.

Could definitely have used that one today!

Just click on Advanced to expose the Refraction Index slider for the Ground material!

So I'm missing something here.   ???  Under Environment you can adjust Ground Shadows, Ground Reflections, Flatten Ground and Ground Size, and under material options you have a 'Ground' material.  But I can't figure out how to put the "Ground" material on the ground in the environment so that I can then adjust it?

Thanks TpwUK!  I hadn't found those yet.  I sure like the 'Backdrop Round' and 'Backdrop Ramp' import options as well!
