Will one of the Gurus here give me the procedure for selecting a reflective glass floor for a render
in Keyshot version 5. ?  And will I be able to select a color of that glass floor?

Thank you,
gda

KeyShot

You can create your own glass floor by adding a ground plane and assigning the glass material to the ground plane.

Or you can create your own geometry, and UV map each surface in a different color.  Then you can apply one material to one surface and another to the other.  You can get great effects this way.  I often use a glass ground plane, often chrome on the bottom (under) and frosted to the top.  Or textures on each or both surfaces to suit.

Hi Speedster,

Would it be possible for you to share one of those surfaces? I don't work in any 3D application that supports that functionality :)

Speedster

Sure- Table Top, Photo Backdrop, Cyc and Flat.  These are SolidWorks models, but you can drag-drop into your bip and resize to suit.
