Focused Caustic Questions

Hey All,

I have two questions in regards to the enclosed file. 

1. Is there a way to accentuate the caustic effect-while i've changed and increased environmental brightness and contrast, the caustics are very subtle

2. If i want to have a night scene with a dark environment, and point lights assigned to geometry in the pool walls simulating pool lights, how do i get focused caustics to show up in the water and reflect off
    the pool walls

Any thoughts on how to optimize things here much appreciated
