Hi, I have a problem when I import an alembic file into Keyshot. I'm trying to export Deformed animation from maya to Keyshot by using alembic cache file, but when I import into Keyshot, model is not smoothed, like zero tessellation. When I export the model, I uncheck "no normals", but seems like there is no normal info carried with the file. Does anyone have any idea? I really need help! Please, Keyshot Forum's brains!!!
Why are you not using the May a plugin and import the data directly?
Keep in mind that deformed animations are not supported in KeyShot. You will need to save out an obj sequence which you can then read into KeyShot and render out. If you have the Pro version, you can use scripting to automate the task.
