Title: Rhino6 --> Keyshot 7.2
Post by: mikalind on March 11, 2018, 01:00:05 AM
Hi

Any news/word on when one can expect Keyshot to import 3dm files from Rhino 6 ?
Right now you just get the "There seems to be no 3d geometry....." when importing.
(and yes I made sure that shaded was checked in Rhino"

Are you guys still having issues with this in KS 7.3.40?

A quick fix would be to export from Rhino as a mesh file such as .obj or .fbx
.Iges and/or .stp file would also work I believe.

Rhino 5 files export from rhino 6 makes more sense as a quick fix.  But the main selling point for keyshot is ease of use.  So keyshot needs to fix it and fix the plugin as well.
