Title: Crashes laptop with dual monitors
Post by: dburnett74 on March 25, 2014, 06:12:33 AM
So not really sure what's going on. I have a new MSI laptop and have not had any issues running keyshot on it, that is until I plug in an external monitor. For some reason when I have dual monitors or even just one monitor attached to the laptop, the second I try and apply a texture the laptop crashes. Any help would be amazing at this point.

Are you getting the "blue screen of death"?

Yes, the second I try and drag a texture I get the blue screen of death, but like I said this only happens when an external monitor is plugged in.

Something is fundamentally wrong on your machine then. This has nothing to do with KeyShot.

I would agree but Keyshot is the only program that has this problem. I am able to run KeyCreator, 3D Studio Max and all of the Adobe Creative with no issues.
