Boat wake visualization

Hi!
I'm currently visualizing a boat concept. Water using a bump map + an open sky hdri makes a pretty good scene, but it would be nice to give the boat some motion with some foam around the bow and sides and a wake.
Does anyone have some good techniques to achieve this?

Currently, I creat it with photoshop in post-production.
