Haven't posted my own work for awhile- been so jammed on a client project, modeling and a ton of renderings, that I had no play time. It's great to be able to finish up my new "1913 Model T Livingston-RAJO Racer".
Modeled in SolidWorks, rendered in KS of course, with my own HDR made in HDR LightStudio, and a backplate in Photoshop Cs5.
I often run into a strange problem, in that much of my stuff is "flat" with planar surfaces, always a dog to light without flashing out. Not like those curvy cars today! Also, we all know how hard it is to work with white, so this was a challenge.
BTW, this is very close to the studio shots in Rodder's Journal Magazine, which I use as a guide for my work. Check out the mag for some great inspiration!
