Render Layers

Is it possible to just render out the render layers and not have to render out everything again?

Also, is there a way to save out the render layers into the same format as the main render? I have .tiffs at 32bit being saved out, the render layers are on .png - 8bit.  Also, when will 16 bit .pngs be available for render format option?

Hi fantomas81,

Render layers can only be outputted as .PNG. Render layers cannot be outputted without the full image; however, you can use region render to frame the desired area.
