Title: Jewellery Animations
Post by: ivuzem on January 03, 2020, 08:53:45 PM
New forum user here, but KS user for past 2 years, long time Rhino user. I'm a full time jewelry CAD designer, and here I'd like to show you some of my animations I've done.
Hope to meet some of you at KS World2020 :)

VERY nice!  What lighting did you use for the 3rd video with the earrings?

Thanks, actually pretty simple setup for the lighting, one IES spot light for caustics (which on this video is turned off) and a slightly modified (added couple of pins for nice diamond reflections in strategic places :)) HDRI from one of the jewellery sample scenes.

I agree. The ring on the rock is my fave. These are very nice to watch! Great work. I've yet to render a single piece of jewelry, but seems fun.
