I posted this earlier but did not see the post, so I hope this is not a duplicate post.

I am experiencing extreme frustration in setting up a scene that requires small incremental moves to a part. The gripper only appears when zoomed to far out to see the the move.

Ugh!

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks.

It is a duplicate, but I can't find your other post, which is a shame as it had a couple responses.

Look at your environment size, its probably way to big. I had the same issue, shrunk my environment back down to a reasonable size and the move gizmo stopped disappearing when I zoomed into smaller objects.

THANK YOU! I reduced the environment and all is well.   You're a genius!
That said, I do wonder why functionality (appearance) of this tool is tied to the environment.

I found out the solution from Dries, so all credit goes to him! Its an odd thing, but that's how it goes. I'm not sure why it works that way.
