Title: ZOOM IN TO BACKPLATE ??
Post by: beefy on March 01, 2015, 05:56:45 PM
I position my part against the backplate, scaling the parts size till it's just right.

Next I want to zoom in to the backplate and part but all I get is zooming in to the part which basically makes it look like it's increasing in size relative to the backplate.

Is it possible to zoom into both of them at once then render only the portion of the backplate I have zoomed in to, or is the backplate fixed and cannot be zoomed in to.

Looks like this was a feature request before:

It's a request that we've gotten before, and we're evaluating it.

Right now your best option is to crop the backplate to the desired size.
