Title: Mac OSX Server OS - EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 33 Exit reason 1
Post by: Z-Man on March 19, 2015, 04:55:07 AM
Hi all,

We've been trying to install the floating license on our Mac Server running OSX Server OS, and get this Error log.

"EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 33 Exit reason 1"

Does anyone know how to get around it?

Is this an incompatibility of FlexLM with the OSX Server OS.

Many thank's in advance.

Please contact license@luxion.com. The team will help to get it up and running. What version of OS X Server are you using?

We're currently running Server 10.8.5. Spoke to Licensing team. They sent me the new manager App. Tried it. No go.

Went back to trying to use the FLexLM manager and the attached photo is what I get now.

I figured it out. And sorry for the upside down pic.

I had to add the IP address and the Host name to the Hosts file in the "etc" folder.

Might want to have this automatically done when updating the new license manager installer if it's not yet been applied to it.

Thanks.
