Title: Two Fire Engines
Post by: Speedster on March 21, 2015, 04:26:05 AM
Couldn't resist showing my growing collection of fire equipment.  The 1875 Clapp and Jones Steam Pumper, and my 1916 Ford Model T Howe Chemical Truck.  Shown at the Antique Steam and Gas Museum, in Vista, California.

SolidWorks, KeyShot 5 Pro. 4,566,144 polys, running at 256 fps on my 32 core BOXX computer.

I rendered out the backplate only and dropped it in below the beauty shot, then gently softened the ground shadows, which were a bit harsh against the dirt.

Will have to update your museum scene too!

Maybe it's the hard shadows on some parts of the engines, but ground shadows by be a touch too soft.
