Hello guys.
I have some problems about light/shadow system on Keyshot.
I want make a rendering of my 3D model truck with a Backplate + EXR, but the shadow doesn't work good.
My question is: How i can make a realistic directional shadow ?
The EXR + Backplate can be found here: http://www.hdr-sets.com/index.php/free-sets/satellite-01-free.html
I'm using this backplate:

Have you added a ground plane ?
Martin
Ground plane ?
How it works ? Can you explain me how ?
Edit/Add Geometry/Ground Plane - Makes better looking shadows

I tried, but nothing ...
Ok try rotating the environment - Tweak contrast and brightness levels on the environment too
Martin
Nothing .... :(
Hi Alang7
Is it possible for you to share a .ksp of your scene?
I wouldn't mind taking a look at it.
I tried to download the EXR + Backplate from the link you posted, but the webpage doesn't seem to work properbly.
Hello.
Here the Backplate + EXR: http://www.mediafire.com/download/w43jr6qddfbvdkc/Backplate.rar
Hi Alang7.
I managed to download the files from the site and it helped me figure out where you go wrong.
Instead of using the EXR you've uploaded you should use the one called "107_ENV_DOMELIGHT.exr". See attached screenshot.
I don't know why they have EXR. versions of all their backplates, like the one you've used.
Let me know if you get it to work! :)
Yes, it now work! :D
But, one thing. How i can make a realistic dark shadow ? Sometimes the shadow is too light ...

Great, that's good!
Is it with this particular HDRI that the shadow gets to light?
Yes.
Render now is done, but the shadow looks too light.
