Title: KeyShot Export SolidWorks
Post by: duke on May 04, 2015, 05:29:40 AM
I am exporting a large model from SolidWorks using the Keyshot plugin. Using SolidWorks, I have assigned different colors to surfaces that I will apply a paint to in KeyShot.

See attached image- I have applied a blue color to the cut for the logo. When I export and bring the .bip model file into Keyshot, the option to apply a material to that logo is gone.

Does anyone know how to keep these surfaces separate so I can apply a different material to the logo?

Thanks,
Duke

Try just importing your solidworks file instead of exporting from solidworks to a BIP. It should retain your textures/shaders.
