Looking cool! I can see the tessellation on the visor. I wonder if you calculate vertex normals in the geometry editor if it will smooth it out? Would you mind trying that for me?

mr rex, I tried but I crashed it out everytime i clicked either of the check boxes. Its a dyna mesh so it might be all crazy in theere. lazy solution is mo' polys

Thanks Andy. No crash for me but I've found a bug and filed it with development. When it's working properly it should do the trick of smoothing out the facets.
