Title: Transparency with Still Renders
Post by: duke on May 21, 2015, 07:17:41 AM
In animations you can change the transparency of a part. Is this possible to do with a still render without changing the material type?

(See attached picture for an example of what I am trying to achieve without any post work in photoshop and two renders)

Thanks,
Pete

if you have the animation plugin, you can apply a transparency animation to the object and then position the playhead at the desired blend point and render out a still image.

If you don't have the plugin, then doing two renders and combining in post is the only way to get that same effect I think.
