Title: Separate settings for bump/color maps
Post by: Winch Doctor on May 28, 2015, 10:34:38 AM
Hello Keyshot,

Today I wanted to add a decal to a surface that already had a bump map. The decal only covers about 2% of the surface, so the bump map adjusted to ONLY cover the part that the decal was touching, leaving the rest of my material smooth.

I was hoping to apply a decal to a bump mapped surface (I applied it as a color), and work moderate their positions and scales separately, but all functions seem to link the two together.

Uncheck the "sync" option so the color texture is no longer linked to the bump texture.

That worked perfectly. My apologies.

I would quite like to see "lock" buttons in the material, bump, spec etc tabs. Its good to know that when something is locked, its locked!
