I'm pretty sure the answer to this is yes but., just to be sure , will KS6 allow me to overlay two procedural textures of vastly different scales? I'm thinking of castings where you want a gradual and randomised rise and fall to represent cooling distortion/mold inaccuracy etc with the general surface undulations (roughness) superimposed. So the profile might look as if it were like this...

You can overlay as many bumps as you want. Procedural and bitmaps.
