Title: More diamonds in KS6
Post by: Ed on July 22, 2015, 01:59:27 PM
KS6 with new diamond material.

Abbe = default 55.  No need to pump up the fire on this one.

I added occlusion on the ring shank to help separate the reflective platinum metal from the small diamonds.  It made the stones really pop compared to the default platinum material.

The second image is my attempt to replicate the look used by many high-end jewelers. De-saturated with a slight cyan tint added (although they tend to use a solid white background).

Nicely done Ed ... Those diamonds look great. I think this is really gonna put the cat amongst the chickens and cause some chaos ripples. Hint Hint :)

Wow!  Sure beats the wheels off a Mustang!  Old-timers with KeyShot will get the analogy...
