Title: New Anti Aliasing model support needed
Post by: mrjschulte on November 15, 2010, 07:33:09 PM
Hi are there any plans to add more than just the 'gauss' Anti Aliasing model. It's really not cutting it for a lot of the images we need to render and something more sophisticated and capable would really make a difference in the images we're all rendering.

Thanks,
J

I agree. I see AA issues with thin geometry and transitions between alpha to opaque materials. I also see halo's when assigning alpha channel passes to other diffuse, beauty or custom part in luminance, red, green, blue, and alpha mattes.  Maybe there is a better way of setting up the AA in combination with pixel filtering to get clean plates.
