Title: Brabus
Post by: E.Sirbu on August 20, 2015, 03:18:54 PM
After some tiring days, finally I had a relaxing time in front of a render. I found a modified mercedes I already rendered time ago and I just played a little in keyshot looking for something new. The result is this: What do you think about? :)

I like the overall mood, but again, there are tesselation and aliasing issues. Also, there is a worrying striped visual disturbance on the ground plane

Yes, yestarday evening I didn't see the tessellation on it. I saw that the ground is wrong but it was too late and I was too tired to remake the render. I chooesd the wrong model for a HQ render, and it's good that you saw it and told me. Thanks! :)

nice render, pending a few tweaks. I thought the striping on the ground plane was mini sand dunes under the (shallow) water, which then made me think the car is 'walking' on water, in a Jesus stylee!

But i kinda like it  :D

I like it!  Maybe a tad too much ground reflection?  But it does look like the Bonneville Salt Flats after a rain!

Thanks!
Edwardo yes the effect looks nice but it should look different. I did a mistake before I started the render because I had 2 ground planes on, and there should be only one on.
Speedster maybe, but sometimes it depends on the moment feeling. If I should remake it I certainly don't use the same effects.

An other render and I think the last with this model. It's the first time I use the grain effect and it remembers me some dust portraits I saw on TV. I used it because I still had some aliasing problems with this model, and this effect covers a little. Opinions?
