Title: Max render size in Keyshot
Post by: rembem on August 26, 2015, 01:24:39 AM
I want to make a render at 30000x30000 pixels. But when I render and set the render time to 1 hr it's finished within 15 min. And when I put to settings to 10000x10000 then it's fine. Is there a maximum in Keyshot?

If you are running Keyshot HD, there is a limit. If you are running Pro I think it is supposed to be unlimited?

Can I ask what you would need that high a resolution for? I've rendered roadside billboards for clients and those huge scenes were 12,000 x 12,000 max

There is a maximum amount for max time (and it is around 10k+) - try using max samples or advanced mode.

I'd also be curious as to know the motive behind a 30K wide  render. Resolution can be changed without changing pixel count as well as scaling can be done in a program such as Photoshop. Even with over-sized printing, they tend to scale up rather than print at 300 dpi.
