Title: pSphere mysteriously replaced with other part??
Post by: theAVator on October 08, 2015, 01:50:40 PM
 ???
This ones a little weird.
I created a sphere in keyshot, sized it and placed it inside a taillight and then applied a a light material to it. I did some other looking around in my model, saved it and closed out. The next time I opened the file, it had replaced my sphere with some other random part. Anyone ever see this before or have an idea what might cause it?
- The part was listed in the same group, still had the pSphere1 name, still had the same light material applied, it even kept the same scaling values. But was a completely wrong and random part.

Pic is included of the part, I've changed the material so it was easier to see it. But as you can see, it isn't spherical. I can't even find the part in my source files...

Yeah, I've got this lately with KS5.2
Mostly when duplicating parts, save, close, re-open I find it has duplicated another part all of a sudden .. or the object is suddenly 90° rotated.
Things are all over the place.

(Windows 7 - KeyShot 5.2.10 - SketchUp 8 - ..)

Yep. Me too. This might shed some light on this topic if you're able to access it: https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=11155.0

Doesn't look like I can get there.

Sorry. It's from the KS6 Beta board. Basically, they're taking care of it. Try to limit your duplication of parts and extensive re-organization of scene tree.
