I've got a scene that has 1 light fixture with many parts. After applying materials to all parts, the idea was to instance/pattern it to populate the ceiling with lights and not have to re-apply materials. It took me a while to learn that if it's not the top level on the Scene tree, it couldn't be patterned. Not a good idea in my own opinion, but I understand it's that way probably for technical reasons.
So, I moved it into its own top level group and still no dice... am I seriously going to need to duplicate this instead of use the awesome pattern feature? To me, this defeats the purpose of a very powerful feature within KS.
Please advise if you've got a solution!

Updated and it's fixed. Something must have gone bad on my previous beta install.
